Cambrils Park Resort (SALOU)
It is located between Cambrils and Salou on a main road. It sits 400 meters from the beach, so it is in reasonable walking distance of Platja del Cap de Sant Pere beach. However, chances are you may never wish to leave the resort, which is almost like a theme park, offering a variety of pools, sports activities, clubs and entertainment.
There are three sections of the resort containing separate pool areas. One of these is called 'Animal Kingdom' and will appeal largely to children, with water slides and large animal sculptures. The 'Pool Trade Area' and 'Piscina 04' are for the grown ups. They offer sun loungers around the edge and islands at the centre.
The resort appeals largely to children - with lots of activities taking place each day at the 'Parky Club'.
There are also a range of sports facilities on offer, including mini golf, tennis courts, five a side football pitch and a fitness centre.
During the evenings the resort organise a range of shows for both adults and children.
There are two shops on site - one offers food including fresh bread and meat. The other is a souvenir shop. There is also a laundrette.
